This is project that is very near and dear to my heart. When I was very young and vinyl records were still the standard, I had the privilege of working at Bolivar Speaker Works (a division of JBL) where I co-produced this “Test” record with Larry Phillips which was distributed at the 1977 Consumer Electronics Show in Chicago. It is still considered the finest test record ever record. if you look closely at the cover, you’ll see me sitting in the wagon behind Larry Phillips. It was a project of a lifetime, I was 27.
